Globalisation

The origin of this term generally is attributed to the economic doctrines, meaning the passage from the domestic to worldwide markets. Sciences, which refer to the environment (e.g. ecology) highlight the continuity of the natural phenomena and the consequences of the human action (energy, water, climate, etc). It is worth remembering, as an example, the term of global change concerning the climate and the living conditions of our planet. Social sciences take into account processes of planetary civilization, interactions between different local cultures, an increasing risk globalization due to demographic, environmental, technological and other types of changes. The risk is not more only economic and individual but global. This characteristic makes it necessary to increase individual commitment and awareness on the relationships between different communities and local areas within a global dimension.
